27. I love it when I wake up and there’s already food on the table.

I woke up home alone. I felt sort of lonely. I stood up, fixed my bed, and tied my hair up. I went out of my room then, boom, happiness. Who isn’t happy when they see plates of french toast, noodle soup with eggs, and eggs benedict on the table?

Though I know that the house better be spic and span before they arrive, I’m glad that I have enough inspiration in plates to get me going.

Oh, thank You, Lord, for such wonderful parents. :D

26. I love lying in bed for hours at night, thinking about almost everything in my life and sometimes imagining a life-changing moment. :)

I find it easier to plan things out, make decisions, come up with strategies, and make choices at nighttime. I don’t know. I guess it helps with the retention of everything I have in mind. Also, I tend to imagine life-changing situations, or moments, rather, in my head. Almost all are impossible but I’m still hanging on to that small piece of hope that at least one or two would happen. :)

25. I love it when he calls me at night.

He usually calls me when I’m already sleeping. But, it’s fine anyway. The fact that he calls me just to tell me good night makes me fall in love with him more and more.

24. I love flannel shirts.

Flannel shirts go with almost anything and almost any color—from jeans to shorts, from black to pink to white. My flannel shirts are usually cotton short-sleeved and they’re not one of those long ones. I don’t like long flannel-shirts, really. Haha. Anyway, I usually wear my flannel shirts with shorts and a random Kipling bag from my closet along with boho-like strappy sandals or slip-ons. The simpler your outfit is, the lighter and prettier you are in anyone’s eyes.

23. I love unexpected text messages.

An unexpected message, may it be short or extremely long, can totally change my day, and even my mood. I think it denotes that the sender either misses you badly or he/she is just downright caring. One emotion can express a thousand words. But sometimes, a thousand words can’t express one emotion. But nevertheless an unexpected sms is enough to make my day complete—especially if the sender is someone I really love.

22. I love ice cream.

There’s nothing better than licking my favorite ice cream in school to satisfy your my sweet tooth no matter how blistering hot the summer heat is. I’m glad that my school canteen sells ice cream during the afternoon.

21. I love that feeling I get when I lie down on my bed after an exhausting day.

It’s like eating food that you spent your whole day cooking. Haha. It’s a silly comparision, but, really, the feeling’s like that.

I love it when I feel my insides suddenly relax once I’m lying down. I can actually feel my body calm itself down, releasing it from the embrace of rigid exhaustion.

20. I love it when I’m told that I’ve made someone’s day.

19. I love that feeling I get when I see his name on my phone.

It may either be a call, a missed call, or an sms—either way, I love it. Personally, I think that’s some ways a man shows his care.

18. I love NYF.

I love their golden brown, crisp fries. There’s not a day that I don’t go to the mall without stopping by NYF to buy fries. I usually go for that nacho thing. I’ll never get tired of eating their nacho fries—and, yes, I always ask for an extra pump of nacho cheese. Hahah. It’s free, anyway.

17. I love playing scenes in my head at night before I sleep.

It’s my way of falling asleep, really. I play scenes in my head that I’d love to happen. Most of them are, honestly, impossible but it feels great imagining how it feels like if it’s really happening. At the same time, playing scenes in my head is the only way I could remember certain people.

16. I love travelling.

And by travelling, I mean going to another country for vacation purposes. Travelling gives me a different sense of freedom. Riding on an airplane itself is extremely exhilarating. Strolling around an airport you’ve never been in before is amazing. The feeling is worth remembering. Going to another country that you’ve only seen on tv, in books, and in pictures is worthwhile. The feeling’s like discovering a world that you’ve only heard of before—like that feeling you get when you’re on the very top of a Ferris wheel. It’s amazing, really.

One day, when I have enough money, I’d fly from one country to another—or go around the world, if possible. I’d buy this and that, take hundreds of pictures, eat everything appetizing, appreciate everything pleasing. And I’d be glad to travel with someone really special.

15. I love conversations where I don’t have to think about what to say next, it just comes naturally.

I love talking to people whom I can talk naturally with. And by naturally I mean in a relaxed, easy way.
